Tara Feener leads engineering teams at award-winning digital tools companies working at the intersection of design, product and engineering. With a focus on tools centered around the digital canvas, she has worked on several Creative Suite applications in the Adobe family and most recently at FiftyThree with Mix (a public domain based creative collaboration platform), Pencil and Paper for iOS, and Paste – FiftyThree’s newest team collaboration tool built for showing your work which is still in beta.
When not working on tools for digital creation, Tara can also be found creating both digital and analog
artwork. Her digital illustration project, 100 Days of Newfoundland, was featured on CBC, VOCM, The Huffington Post, The Telegram, and The Overcast amongst others, and held two shows at Gallery21 downtown St. John’s and Unscripted Festival 2015. Tara has a few other Newfoundland inspired art projects in the works she’s looking forward to sharing soon, and until then is enjoying digital storytelling across various mediums on the web.
She graduated with a Computer Engineering degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland, and is
currently a full-time engineering lead at FiftyThree working out of their TriBeCa office in Manhattan.
